Not too sure how else to explain other than thread title, my mare has a beautiful shiny coat but my god does it pick up dust and hold on to it! Mostly if she has got herself caked in mud in the field I find it so hard to brush away the dust after the mud is removed and being dark bay doesn't help matters.
Any ideas? I tend to brush with a plastic or rubber curry comb, then a hardish bristled brush, then a soft bristled brush.
Not really life or death, but it is really irritating me now as she looks so nice when she is shiny and clean!!
