Hi, I know it's a long shot but does anyone have absolutely any information on the Dutch Warmblood investigation that took place around 1999 and 2000? We're any conclusions reached? I'm talking about the one in which lame horses were being shipped from Holland for meat but then bought and sold as dressage or jumping prospects. My mum moved out of the area before the investigation was finished and would like to know if anyone knows anything. Absolutely any information whatsoever is appreciated. Thank you.

They weren't necessarily lame, my friend bought a couple (separate times) around that time from a rather disreputable dealer that were originally destined for meat, but came to UK, both nice, good looking sound warmbloods, but both had 'quirks' making them rides for very experienced people only.
