My pony went on loan last year and has now come back. Whilst she was with them she was vaccinated with Duvaxyn T.. Can anyone tell me what this is for and how long it lasts? I have a feeling that it is for Tetnus?!

Thanks in Advance, A :)

It's just tetanus, so she won't need doing for tet again until 2 years after that vaccine (so some time next year probably). Don't know if you have any plans for competition/riding club etc but unless she had the influenza vaccine as a seperate jab last year, then you will need to restart her flu course if you want to take her competing, as flu vaccines need yearly boosters.

Duvaxyn T is tetanus only and should be covered for tetanus for 2 years. Duvaxyn IeT + is both flu and tetanus. Hope that helps.
