I have a lemieux pro sorb pad that has developed black patches on the cotton side of it, and the wool is a grey colour. I boughtit second hand quite cheap so ths doesn't worry me as functionally it works fine, it would just be better if it looked a bit nicer. I think whoever owned it mst have washed it and not dried it properly and the black patches are damp mould marks.
It started off life as being white with natural wool- has anyone ever tried dying these (ie brown) - would it work or would I completely wreck it? I've read bleaching is out as it wrecks the sheepskin.
