Hi,
I'm wanting to dye my daughters pony mane for a fancy dress competition, can anyone recommend what's good to use? Paint or food colouring or...?
Thanks

Ummm, you may want to change the name of the post to 'dyeing' (as I thought someone wanted to know about taking a piece of mane off a pony after being pts).
Have never dyed a pony, but a friend of mine died numerous white goats with different shades of food colouring for a display. And also you can get 'raddle' for sheep and goats (used in a ram/buck harness when mating to show if male has mated any females each day). Same friend had a buck with a blue raddle that was too soft for the weather conditions - the buck was VERY busy during the night of rain and next morning she had many white goats with electric blue rumps! The colour was stunning and the product would be animal safe, but it does take a while to wear off.
