I bought the freejump pro grip stirrups second hand (I’m always partial to a good deal ?) however I didn’t realise how light the brown would be and it doesn’t match my tack at all. I don’t particularly want to go through the hassle of selling them and trying to get another good deal on the black version so I was wondering if it would be possible to dye them with leather dye? The only issue I can see is that the leather is vegetable leather so I’m not sure if it would absorb the dye very well.

By vegetable leather do you mean veg tan cow skin or some sort of vegan alternative? If cow hide you should be able to, it depends a bit on if it has a finish already what you would do and I'm no expert. If the vegan version I would be surprised if it would work, maybe someone else would know.
