cant see why not as long as dont make contact with the skin!! my sister is hairdresser and my friend at the yard wants her highland mare to have pink stripes in her mane!!
not sure about vedge dye but I use ordinary hair dye on my ponies main and tail. I have only tried black hair dye though which I use on my show ponies when their mane and tail gets bleached by the weather it just makes them look really smart when dyed!.
as long as its not in contact with the skin should not be a problem, i asked my sister who is a hairdresser and she reakons should be ok as long as no contact with skin!!...........my friend dyed the end of her black dogs ear red! he looked sooooo cool
its fine to do it with natural hair colour! i mean likewith natural products in it, ignore the others saying dont do it kim.
just make sure you use the proper one

Yep, cos technicaly i think its cheating, grey horses legs are darkened often.
My friend dyed hers blackberry black the night before a big show, but it was purple/black so she had to pull out, and if you go to a show class in the rain you will find very few ponies with 4 white sock, or grey with black legs
I toyed with the idea of dying my grey pony chestnut on many occasions. He once rolled in some orange sand and for a few brief minutes was a lovely colour.
better hope your horse doesnt get stolen-changing colours to your paperwork might be a bit risky lol!!!!!! i seriously want to put some little red tinits in my boys mane as he is a very bright bay and has lots of red in his coat! hehe!!
Could she not try a spray on colour first? have seen a few people selling spray in colours on ebay and wondered whether it may be worth a try with that first to see how good it looks before committing to a colour which may look awful or cannot easily be washed out. Just a thought?
