You certainly are quick to post! Absolute pleasure to meet you today - I'll pop a few piccies on when I get a chance. Look forward to seeing the video.
Neil (the photographer!)
Thanks Neil, lovely pics of the two ponies. It was a pity the light got too poor by the time the horses were on.
It wasn't too good for videoing, but here's a slightly 'gloomy' vid of Cruz's winning round - all sleek and shiny now Rosie's clipped her!
Not sure - I think Rosie's planning on Isleham as her first one and I guess it will be on the Saturday as there's a point to point on the Sunday. There is an intro so maybe that's where Cruz will go for their first outing.
Rosie and her parents were thrilled to bits with Cruz yesterday. She was as good as gold, very grown-up and not at all spooky and she's learning to get on with Rosie remarkably quickly. Karen says she's super to clip as well - Rosie can't clip many of their horses because they're 'difficult' but had no probs with C.

Novice was approx. 2'3", intermediate was 2'9" to 3' - they looked a fair size to me although not as big as the open (but that's another story!)
There were only 4 riders and 5 horses (I think) in the Open so they agreed to give the horses a bit of a challenge and because it's an unaff. show and they mostly all know each other they put the jumps up a bit - 2 or 3 were close to 4 ft. Rosie won on Connie and was second on Bertie. I'll put Connie's round in the gallery at some point - she was a star

Neither belongs to Rosie and I only know their stable names - first pic is Holly and second is Sammy - think she maybe used to own them but not sure

yer thought the first was holly (think hilltop holly) friend had it for a bit (the one that owned the one she took to hoys)
Not sure - she's 10 and not done much until they got her so no dressage to date. They've taken her team chasing (she was brilliant) and John Bowen says she could easily learn dressage but they've been quite taken aback at how well she jumps so they may stick with that for a bit. On the other hand, come the eventing season thay might not be able to resist giving it a whirl - watch this space
I noticed you talked about Hilltop Holly, I wondered if you could confirm this as I know a pony called this some years ago, I think it was a Dun, but it is some time ago.
I'm afraid I can't (I only know her as Holly and know that she doesn't belong to Rosie) but the first picture posted by Neil40 on the previous page is the pony. Madclause may be able to help with more details.
