Ear infection treatment without prescription?

Benzyle benzoate from the chemist if it is just ear mites. You might get a funny look though..it`s for ..um..other insecty things!

Personally i wouldnt recommend putting anything in your dogs ears without knowing what type of infection is present, if it is even an infection. Could be ear mites, a foreign body.

I would get them checked as putting the wrong stuff in can cause more harm than good.

she is on anti-b's anyway for some fighting wounds, shall i give it a bit of time see if it shifts with what she's on anyway?

No. The antibiotic that may be effective against say, a flesh wound may not be effective due to dosage/type of bacteria that's affecting her ear canal. A combination of steroid/antibiotic treatment may be necessary. Ear infections are extremely irritating and painful so a trip to the vets is necessary.
