Any experience?

Recommended products or supplements?

I don't think he has it bad but he does get grumpy when I touch the one or two places on his ear edges that are affected.

Spaniel type with mad hairy ears. I need to brush them to get knots out and sometimes 'catch' the crusty bits.

Head and Shoulders?

Rule out mange and ringworm first

If it is Ear margin hyperkertosis/sebborhoea regular bathing with a shampoo like Douxo S3 Seb, using salicylic acid cleansers, applying topical omega/skin support like Dermalease and increasing the dietary vit A and essential fatty acids usually solves it.

Well if it can be mistaken for mange or ringworm then maybe it isn't the ear margin thing. Cos it's literally nothing. Just a few teeny bits of clumped hair on his ear margins.

It starts out like that and gets progressively worse. I haven't seen a photo/your dog so was being safe and adding the common rule outs into the equation
