Ear plugs - Any recommendations?

Does anybody have any experience with using these? Did they help with a sensitive horse?

Any recommendations for best type to use? I have seen memory foam type / fluffy wool type...?

I use ear plugs on my TB and find that they help quite a bit, particularly out hacking, but also for schooling as it helps him concentrate. I don't use ones specifically for horses, I use sponge cat balls - they are exactly the same as Pom ear plugs but are £1.75 for four instead of £10 for two!

I just poke them in his ears and he's never been bothered by them.

For shows I have coloured a pack of them with permanent marker.
