My darling husband has just asked me if our horse can have ear reduction surgery as his ears are sooooooooooooooooooo mahooooosive, and he hopes he grows into them.....

I actually love them, isn't it supposed to mean they are honest??

Anyone else love big ears ??:D
 
Ruby's ears are rather large to the point in fact her nicknames on the yard are Dumbo and Ears I love her waggaly ears they're very cute and so much fun to play with :D
 
Benson had huge ears, but it really suited him. Donovans ears are cute, and just the right size for him.
 
Skinny Minnie has huge ears. I tell her she is a pony, she is meant to have cute little fluffy ears, not ears that look like they have been taken off an 18hh horse with big ears and transplanted onto her! I love them!
 
My Clevelands all have big, expressive ears :)

My ponies have tiny, tiny ears, very cute..
 
I read that the Queen complained that all the (race?)horses she bred had great big ears, she seems able to judge a good 'un! My Milly's got big fuzzy ears.
 
I love big ears! They're adorable, but so are my welshies mini ears that would probably look better on a 13hh pony not a 16hh horse! I think I just really like ears....
 
I love big ears, also loppy ears and tiny ears and ears with tuffs.
I guess I might have a thing for ears :)

I also love it when the ears go back, then you speak and they are pinned down further. Hilarious (none of my horses do that by the way)
 
when i read the title i wondered if this was another magazine article quote DD !!!:eek: some larger lady deciding her obese horses ears were too big and deciding to have them reduced:rolleyes:

my big girl has ................big ears:D she'd look silly with small ones :p
my daughters only pony had the cutest fluffiest ears ever, was the only cute thing about him tho, my friends mini has tiny ears and a huge mane, most times you can't see he has any ears!! lol
 
I love horses with big ears. It genuinely seems to correolate with their temperament. Someone a while ago comment on their TB's sharp little devil dagger ears and the sharp little devil temperament they had to go with it.

Big ears are the best!

I was told that long ears means that the horse is intelligent.............................then I look at our grey ................................... he has massive ears but he's thick as a brick!! ;)
 
Star has mahoosive ears. My old farrier once asked how he did when he was racing - I told him not really that well lol - he said, 'I'm not suprised, the drag off them b*ggers must have held him right back!' :p

I love them, they're gorgeous!

Oh and Maggie's ears are gorgeous too!! That's it I am going to put Freddies ears up!! haha
 
HEHE I should have an EXTRA honest one then, with those lugs!! X .... good job they can't speak, or he may tell me how rough I look sometimes!!!!
