Early times [again]

Just got times for milton keynes and they are early again.I am going to phone when times phone opens at 3pm to see if they have any withdraws with times I can take, don't mind if its pn or intro.
Anyone any tips how to get later times or find out which classes run in the afternoon.
I have a baby to take with me and she doesn't wake until 7.30 so I can never leave until about 8.00 as stables are 1 mile away and even plaiting the night before etc. I can't make early times

Wheh i had early times at sommerly (would have menat leaving at 3am) mum rang and they more than happily moved us! But they just said write it on the entry form that you want late times!!

It was an internet entry and I did put it in special requests on both events but I suppose alot do it and they can't please all.I know they try to fit everyone in and I feel a pain but I either stop eventing, lose entry fee when I get early times or beg or leave baby at home alone.
Which shall I choose ? lol

They can't help me as they don't know of with draws so have emailed and left message on phone of sec.
Now keeping fingers crossed[wish I had entered intro as they have afternoon times]

I'm prob going to withdraw from the PN as the ground is awful over here, not sure if my times will be any good for you though, dressage is around the 10ish mark?? Going to make a def decision tomorrow when I've been over there. There are bound to be other withdrawals though so I'm sure you'll get one that suits!!!

if worsed come to worst ring them when ur on your wayand tell them u have broken down!! they will have to give you later times then!!

You could always put in the Notes bit on the internet entry that you need later times etc.
Equally i know (although unfair) that when it comes down to a ballot ppl asking for specific times would be balloted first along with day tickets and non ballot stickers.

Just be warned.

I think the entries secretary for MK is rather accomodating tho

Haven't had a reply.I did put early times but it wouldn't except it without a ballot sticker!!! and I'd used that at Sapey and still got early times there and they changed the day and I got a lecture at work because I had to change the days I work and I'm supposed to give a months notice of days I can work, they have to let me work them but they get really cross if I change them.[due to baby care]
Might also text secretary in case she doesn't get message and email ,what do you think shall I wait till tomorrow?

Thank you they will be a bit better let me know ,some people still do dressage and sj.We just went slow at Sapey but the distances are just not right if you do that, as I found out and had a stop

I would wait till tomorrow. Send her the email, i think she doesnt check her emails or look on the website until the early hours anyway.

Not expecting any miracles, last week his headshaking was really bad and got really bad dressage.Waiting for some herbs to try to help but he is quite tense at the moment ,which is a shame.
Wish he had the temperament of my young horse who is totally different and so laid back.
Just going to try and keep him chilled tomorrow and not ask for too much impulsion as it blows his mind
