Ears - Head shaking

Hi. My dog has started shaking her head loads, since Wednesday so I took her to the vets where she had an inspection and they thought they were ok but I am TRYING to put ear cleaner in daily (most of it ends on the walls!) and she is shaking really badly and driving herself mad (she is so tired) and me mad! Bless her though, she had her anal glands done and a wormer, the things we put them through!! Anyway, is there something else that can be done for her or something else that can be causing her itchy ears??

Sounds very like grass seed which can go very deep into the ear and are not always easy to see and understandably drive them nuts. Ear infections usually cause scratching rather than head shaking. I'd take her back to the vets on Monday and get them to have another look.

My springer head shakes badly when he has bad ears. I use otodex drops which you can buy from most pet shops and they clear this up within a few days.

I use clenaural which works well......
but if it was a grass seed or something similar then you need to vet to remove it!
