We are in Canterbury - I have to confess I was acutally asleep when it hit at 8:18 am today. But a friend down the road said he felt it. And people in Folkestone area have had it bad apparently - My aunt lives there so will call them later....

I was in bed too at the time it hit but it woke me up.We have no damage here.The horses were all perfectly fine and none of them reacted to it,but the haybales did fall down at the yard.

I was ironing a t shirt upstairs in my house when I thought a large lorry must have gone up the road but realised it was an earthquake when the whole house shook, quite worrying at the time but no structural damage.

This woman at our yard has family there, she was telling me about it this morning. Wasn't too bad though I don't think. Did it cause much damage?

Friend who lives near kent said he slept through it, even though the chimney or something fell off
