Firstly thanks to everyone for all your help! I guess sleep deprivation, tiredness and the overwhelmingness of being a new mum is taking it's toll! Its taking me all day just to get baby sorted and get up to the horse once so I do have to rely on people. Yes my hubby has suggested asking loaner to do more - but being me I have to keep an eye on my horse anyway! He also thinks that finding somewhere in our village is a good idea so I could pop round with the pushchair. I don't kno much about PND but I will look into it, I do feel very on edge and weepy but thought I was tired and struggling a bit 
To Amymay - sips off!!!! Just the sort of meddling self-righteous bullhits that I am sick of listening to!!!! If you want to come round and see to my horse yourself and give me your advice over the stable door you are perfectly welcome to - or call the RSPCA if you're not happy!!!! Otherwise, get a life and stop internet stalking people, it's CREEPY. There are certain pieces of information that people do not put on here due to the fact that it is a PUBLIC forum and you don't know who is reading it. I do not have the time to give you my life story, my horse's full medical history or any further information so stop making assumptions that people don't know what they are doing.
The horse has had the farrier (who works for our vet) twice now to see to him. I do not have the time to repeat myself as to the historic reasons why, read my other posts if you're that bored! Horse is on the mend, will be back out in his BRAND NEW grazing muzzle (which may be padlocked to his ears) after a couple more days, thank goodness! Farrier also suggested a blood test to see if there is any metabolic issue because the lami is so mild (it was only me on the yard that noticed how lame my horse was) but obviously there is something there, so vet is booked to come out and do that. I only hope this will be the end of it, it will just be a case of too much grass, and horse can go out in the field, but we will see.
At least that puts paid to me selling him... or loaning him out til we get to the bottom of it!!! Just wish his timing had been better, or that the silly ods that took the muzzle off had left the thing on!!!

I too when reading through - thought that you should just find a paddock/space to rent for your horse. I would look at this as a first option. Good luck.

Finding a yard closer to home might help, but if he needs stabling for lami & you're struggling to manage once a day I don't think renting a field where you won't have anyone to help you is the best idea.
And don't take this the wrong way, but if you have other liveries helping out (i'm guessing for free?) Is it possible they might feel you are taking them for granted if you can only manage once a day? I'm not saying you are, just trying to see it from their point of view.
