Hi all, does anyone have any experience with either the eazigrazer or haylo? I am looking at them for the stable. I have a hay hutch at the mo but was looking at these as they look like they present a more natural grazing position, the hay hutch in the stable seems to make a horse wrench the hay out in a side ways motion, normally in one direction and I'm thinking about the muscles in the neck and back this may be using unevenly.... would love to hear thoughts from people using these please. (I don't use hay nets) thanks

I have an Eazygrazer and my mare LOVES it. She could do with the smaller holes but it definitely slows her down. She is in a much better position...I use this, a small net and a hay ball so her neck has to work in lots of directions. It stretches her and keeps her occupied. I wouldn't go back on my purchase! Pricey but worth it in my opinion

Thank you for your reply, it's really helpful. Has your horse managed to get the middle out or tip it over? My mare is a monkey and I currently have the hay hutch weighed down with 50kg of gym weights as she kicks it around the stable and has in the past been found with her standing in it!

No problem!

She's never kicked it over and only had the middle part out twice since October but I think that may have been my fault for not twisting it in properly! It's quite heavy to lift and has a decent size base. To make sure, I have mine in a corner with woodchip around the base but I think that's just me being on the safe side! I'd buy another one if I got another horse...no question!
