Seeing the thread below re Hunstanton beach I thought that I'd ask if anyone has been to Cudmore Grove at East Mersea on the beach??

We are going down there on Saturday

I'm really excited but a bit nervous too as I'm not sure how Cropi is going to be, I'm sure she'll settle after 15 mins or so but its that 15 mins I'm worried about!!!!

I've never taken her to the beach before and its one of my 'achievments' for the year I can cross off the list

I would not take horses down to Shoebury as the firing ranges are not very far away and you get a lot of testing going on over there. If you have a spooky horse it may not be ideal.

I'll let you know what Mersea is like

Hi

I cover quite a few equestrian events around East Anglia and have always wanted to catch a few shots of horses on the beach/in the surf.

Mersea is quite close to me (and Clacton for that matter) - I'd be interested in getting some images if anyone feels brave enough to cope with a camera pointing at them!

Well we will be down there tomorrow morning from about 10.30 and will be there until 1ish I would of thought. If it goes well we will be going back soon, your more than welcome to come down. You won't be able to miss us, my mare is an Appaloosa and I'll be with a Chesnut and a Dark Bay.

If you can't make tomorrow and your interested then pm me your number and I'll let you know when we are going down next. We are going to Cudmore Grove on East Mersea. Only one road in and one car park at the very end of the road
