Are any of you ging to the training camp in April? I'd love to go but am shy and will only go if I know some of the others going!

Where is it Jo? I can't go, but maybe the lady who is riding for me could? (I haven't been looking at the BD mag because it depresses me!!)

SPRING 2 DAY SENIOR CAMP, Water Farm, Raydon, Nr Ipswich, Suffolk. The aim of the two days is to get together some senior riders, to train, learn from each other, practise test riding, video your tests and watch, and of course, socialise and have fun! The camp will be over two days, stabling overnight and accommodation in your own horsebox/ tent/ caravan.

Those are the details!

Sorry you can't make it but we should try and do it next year when you are back riding again.

Edited to say - did the Myler not work out?

Not that I post on here very often, but we're hoping to go to it - I'm on the list for katharine to send stuff to when details are finalised. Wasn't sure though as a)I'm shy too and b) serious demoralised after disasterous regionals and am having difficulty in working out where we go from there!

Yep, hopefully by then I will have something else to take too!

Hmmm, the Myler... the theory behind it was perfect for Osc but I don't know, he was more argumentative to begin with but once he was properly over the back and working through you seemed to be able to give more direct signals. However we swopped him back to his sweet iron eggbutt and he was easier to talk to from the beginning.
I was going to take it back as you can hire them but I lost the receipt! If no one wants it, it will just be added to the collection!

Pony behaved impeccably but came out with the worst scores of his life - 63% in novice music (second last out of a big class) and 56% in elementary (last). Know someone has to be last but am just not sure after 3 years of intensive work and fab training whether its worth perserving with a pony I adore, but is built downhill and can't seem to show the work they want (although he does manage to qualify so can't be going that badly wrong). We're off to petplan novice finals in april and am sort of waiting till then - would break my heart to loan him out but if he can't physically do it, I don't want to keep pushing him - he'd be happier being a pony club pony

aha but we had plodded up to willerby (miles away) as thought it might be less competitive and so my parents could watch - was very competitive - had I been at patchetts I have no doubt we'd have been last!!
We're off to medium music today at patchetts, and am very intimidated by the names who are in our class. However I reckon because he only qualified by the skin of his teeth, if we get anywhere over 50% I shall be chuffed as its only his 3rd medium!

Sounds fun, although like Finns I don't post on here very much so don't know any of you. Will email Kathrine, mind you I'm only at novice at the moment so your not likely to learn anything from me
