I use Old Macs on my barefoot horse. Can't help with the Easyboot range, but if you go to the Enlightened Equitation Barefoot forum you'll find lots of threads about the different boots on the market and people's experiences of them

How well and long do they last the old macs out of interest?

I've had my first pair of Old Macs 6 months. They have had moderate use and are still going strong. I've heard they can last up to 2 years. I recently got a second pair for the hinds. They are the new G2 style and are very highly rated.

No experience of the easyboot but use boa boots on two barefoot horses and find them great. Expensive initally but last ages.
