Easy-Net haynet review

I wondered what the unusual new net was in the pile! Thought somebody had DIY-d it.

Having tied it up, it was actually more awkward than a normal net as it only has one connection point but that might just be new-confused-user error. It was a tiny one so if it was easier to carry I didn't notice, I haven't tried to fill it so can't speak on that, sorry. That's probably the most important bit, hey? 😁

I like my shires soft mesh nets for easy filling though. They aren't "elasticated" at all, just a big loose bag so they don't close themselves on you and open enough you could climb in if you wanted.

Interesting.
I need huge nets as my horses are around 17hh so can’t imagine carrying a bit net is any easier whatever make it is.

I had one of these from a good few years ago, and earlier this year I bought 4 new greedy feeder ones.
I like them! Easy enough to fill (I just hold the loop in my hand and ram hay in with the other), more comfortable to carry over your shoulder than twine, and I find it easy to hang up but then I don't have my tie rings super high to start with.
I usually thread the clip through the tie ring, through the ring on the bottom and then back through the tie ring and clip back onto the ring at the top of the net, purely because I don't quite like how low they hang if you just thread it through the tie ring and clip to the bottom ring, but that's personal preference.

I suppose a thicker bungee rope wouldn't cut into your shoulder the same way as a normal bit of net rope. But you could probs DIY a bungee carry handle like that maybe?

Skip my rec for the shires mesh ones in that case, they for fatties.

Ok, thanks for all your comments. On the balance of probability, I decided to get one of these hay nets and give it a go, however, I can't get my payment to go through having tried on a number of occasions so I think that means, I'll stick with the old ones.
