Easy Trek bitless bridles sizing?

Can anyone advise please - I tried a cob size but it was very close on his fluffy big ears, almost pushing his ears forwards... but would a full size be too big? He is a 14.2 coloured cob, current bridles are cob size but with full size browband which is loose on him.

If the rest of the bridle fit OK, could you not put a bigger browband in the Easy Trek?
