I cannot decide which ones to go for. I like the discreet fit of the glove but i like the worm key on the edge for a tighter fit. He hasnt to easiest feet to fit a boot to so im expecting to be sending some back untill i find the right fit. he measures 127mm all round width and length. But his feet should hopefully get a tad wider over time, the lenght of his feet are perfect. I dont know which one to go for.
The vet gave him the once over today and he is abit wary behind and upon testing his feet his heels are very sore. so im going to have boots all round. i have cavellos at the moment but they do not fit him well enough. they are fine around the foot but to big around his pastern.
any experiences?

I have gloves and prefer these out of the boots i've tried (easyboot orig, old macs). They are far easier to put on and take off, my horse is happy in them and they are more flexible than they have you believe with the fit. Would recommend getting the sizing kit to find the size you need, they also buy power straps and pads for a perfect comfy fit. Look on www.equinepodiatrysupplies.co.uk as they have the best prices for them. Also should anything break they are easy to fix (replace gaiters etc). I've had mine a year now, done endurance rides in them and had no issues. We are transitioning to fully barefoot at present though so I can hopefully do away with boots (save for emergency issues). I looked at the epics but reading reviews they can be quite difficult to fit. Also more to them to break IMO. :D Hope thats some help :)

Thank you! I have just ordered the fit kit! i need all fours so this could get expensive :-/

iv not heard of those ones. i have cavellos that rub if he doesnt have the gaiters on underneath.

you're welcome, let me know how you get on :) There are some little tricks you can use to help fit of them too (a seller on ebay told me lol). Make sure you get as snug fit as poss so not slobbing off but not bulging over sides too, the power straps will help them to fit closer - also when you put the straps on dont follow where it says on the straps - pm me when you're ready will tell you how to fit them :) Can make them too tight otherwise and you wont be able to get boots on :D
