Easyboot Epics any good?

I use them and think they are one of the better boots. They have enough depth to take a thicker pad if needed, they have a lot of wear on the soles if you want to do lots of roadwork, They are quick and easy to put on and take off.
The traction is based on the glove sole which is one of the best.
I find they work well on difficult hind feet which "twist" as you can adjust the fastener or put shims in the side of the boot to help prevent twisting.

I find they work much better using the "up buckle" rather than the "down buckle" that comes as standard.

It is not difficult to install the up buckle (and I always cut out the back strap)
Obviously you have to buy the up buckles seperately and have to follow the instructions to install them (screwdriver required) but the average DIY person should have no problem.
There is a wider tolerance in foot shape when fitting them than say the with the glove.

They are not the cheapest but to my mind their quality justifies the extra cost. I find them far less bulky than boots such as cavallos and G2's and I expect my boots to be able to go over rough and difficult ground and stay put.

I didn't get on with them, but it all depends on the shape of you horses hooves. They are a good boot, but only if they fit properly!

My lad has wider than long feet now (they've changed a bit over the years) and I find the glove wides are excellent, a bit tricky to get on and off, but very secure and not clumpy at all.

I use Epics on mine and I like them. They are hardwearing and I find them pretty forgiving in fit. They've never come off which is more than I can say for other boots I've tried.
I find when I have them on the hinds the clip catches on the roads so I swap the fasteners for Easyboot bare fasteners that I have which stops that problem. However this is only happening because he doesn't always pick his back feet up very well.
