Easyboot Epics - Turnout?

Hi, my mare doesn't have the best feet and is very sore if she happens to lose a shoe. I was looking at boots to use to protect the foot until the farrier can visit but being a heavy type the only ones I can find in her size are the Easyboot Epics. Would these stay on when turned out? She is only out by day and the field is only muddy near the gate.

They should, if they are correctly fitted. The Epics are quite adjustable, so yes, you should be able to use them as emergency cover to protect a foot that has lost a shoe.

I ride in Epics and they are good at staying on so I would think they had a good chance to work provided they are fitted well.

There are these for just this situation. They come with a pad and stay on really well but I haven't tested them in mud. I am currently considering stitching a leather sole on pair I have so I can extend their life in the yard.

I have looked at those hoof wraps but they aren't big enough for my mares feet unfortunately.
