ive decided the best boots for my chap are the easy boot glove as they look like they would suit him the best the trouble i have is that i measured them and his foot sizes are weird!!!
He measured 130L and 128 w so im thinking a size 2 this is his left foot, but the prob i have is that his right foot measures 120L and 120w,yes i know he doesnt have the best feet!!!ive looked at the relevent sites and i cant decide what to do,do i just go with the length of foot???surely they will move if the width doesnt fit????are there any suppliers in essex that will come and fit the boots???im at a loss of what to do :(

Ive got some for sale, think theyre a size 2 as well, :-)

i take it you used this sizing chart??

Is your horse due to be trimmed, i think i had the same dilema but its amazing just how much the measurements change when the foot has been trimmed and rasped :-)

I would say a size 2 if you go next size up they would be too big and they should be a snug fit, hope this helps

he has just been trimmed and i have used the chart but if i go 120mm L which is correct for length that size boot will be to wide???so what should i do??also can you buy the boots in singles so that i can buy the correct size for each foot???i will have to phone someone monday, but to be honest i was going to try and pick some up cheap as untill i try them i dont know if they will suit him.

I fitted mine to length and then put power straps on them to give a closer fit as had the same problem with width, they fit perfectly this way :) www.equinepodiatrysupplies.co.uk is a good site to get them from, cheaper than others and they sell the power straps and pads to go with them too. You can get a fit kit to find out what size you need too.

Get the fit kit from http://www.thesaddleryshop.co.uk/P/..._kit_glue_on_fit_kit_easyboot_fit-(1149).aspx, it only costs a fiver and means you will be sure of which size works for you before you splash the cash! I thought I'd be able to get my boy into the size 4s but tried the fit kit first to be sure and glad I did cos we couldn't get them to fit - we're sticking with G2s for now.

Also - remember that Gloves are bought singly so it doesn't matter if you have feet of different sizes - you can get the best fit for each foot :)
As Spot-the-risk said though, with round feet you may be better off with Old Macs - or Trails which are quicker/easier fitting and built on the Old Mac chassis.
