I have read several posts about the easytrek saddles and as an owner of one I thought I would add my own. I have the brown comfort saddle which I love to bits, I loaned one from a yard in the North and was impressed.
I cant jump very high in it! and I wouldnt use it for dressage but for hacking its really comfy, I can feel more of my horses back than I can with my Torsion. The only thing I would say is even though its treeless check that the pommel doesnt stop the movement of the shoulder, on some peoples horses that have tried to borrow it has been too tight!

It is very cheap - which made me suspicious!! but 6 months on I still love it and it hasnt caused any back problems.... those that hate treeless have to admit - its pretty comfy!!
The only other treeles I have tried is the Torsion which was better padded but not as comfortable, I found the padding on the saddle was excessive when used with the pad, I used the pad on my easy trek one instead.

I have a trekker treeless saddles which I find brilliant. Like you say, I wouldn't jump or do dressage in it but for hacking its excellent.
I got it for 1 of my horses originally because as he got older, his back started to change shape and become more 'hollow'. He was checked by the vet and back man, and they were confident he wasn't in any pain. But his saddle was a problem as it no longer fit. Rather than having to change saddles as he changed shape, I opted for the treeless and it serves him really well. This is the only treeless I've tried, but it does the job for us.
