How is it that my girl NEVER fails to locate even the most minuscule of fox poos on a walk?! She rolls around in sheer delight, absolutely chuffed with her 'find' and no about of hollering on my part gets her attention!

I don't suppose anyone has any tricks / secret potions for wiping the filthy beasts down rather than constantly showering off?!

Cue one sad looking soggy doggy in the bath :)

Oh God, they are vile aren't they. Hate it when ours do this and for me it's the bath or in hot weather the nearest horse trough!

The worst is in the winter when you don't realise....until you are halfway home with the heating turned up,and the gentle aroma of fox poo wafts across...not helped by having 3 dogs...

Apparently white vinegar is meant to be really effective before a bath, my yellow lab turned into a chocolate lab today!

I must say though, the pets at home own brand puppy shampoo does shift the smell really well

Tomato sauce works a treat and as far as Eau de Fox Poo, Badger Poo you know the Mr Whippy in the latrine scrape is worse:eek:.

But believe you me the worst thing I have ever known was when on a shooting trip to the Wash a mates Labrador found as decompsed dead Seal to roll in and that Blo*** dog was grinning it was so pleased with itself and we drove home with all windows and vents open in the Land - Rover heads out the window Gagging:eek::eek::eek:

Tom sauce works due to the high amount of vinegar in it, vinegar works as well but the Tom sauce is better as you can rub it in better.

Oh dear you have a blonde Lab like me which revels in rolling in the foulest of things.Mine even bathes in the filthy, smelly water which has formed lakes around our muck heap.At least she seems pleased with herself, the only shame being on me when she gives me that imploring look when i attack her with clean water and shampoo.:

Our two must surely be related! Mine always trots off with her 'chuffed' face :D
