eBay Advice Needed

One day I will post on here not asking for advice/people to make my decisions for me. Until then:

1 - Has anyone had any dealings with 'Simply Stubben' shop on eBay? Considering purchasing a Stubben 3000 Bridle from them for destructahorse to enjoy.

2 - Destructahorse needs a new girth, and she's a sensitive little stroppy thing when having her girth done up, and I'm soft so instantly think this is because it is causing her discomfort. (Saddle does fit, but current girth = not great.) Having researched it a bit on here, it looks like Wintec Elastic Girths, Aerborn Human Girths and Stubben Trevira Cord Girths are recommended? Any suggestions as to which one to go for? Current saddle is a Wintec VSD as saddler said he wouldn't put anything else on a 5 year old warmblood with filling out to do, and this has been checked recently and does fit (also, back has been checked too, although she's a loon in the field).

Virtual cookies for anyone that wants to help? (Or alternatively melted/moldy/eaten toblerone if you pay p&p.)

Ooooh, no advice on Stubben but my mare is a typical chestnut mare in that she is a delicate little flower (or so she likes to think

) & I bought her a Thoroughgood (sp?) humane girth. It's made of a neoprene type material & shaped around the forelegs, ie; it dips in rather than being a straight girth. Also has roller buckles so handy for when they blow out.

It's really nice, wicks away sweat etc & only needs a wipe over after each use. Definitely recommend.

Destructahorse! Love it! I've got one of those too! Trashed 2 brand new rugs in 2 days by squeezing through hawthorn bushes! Wouldn't do it nude but in a nice new rug, well, why not! The rugs looked as if ned had been attacked by a great white shark, hanging in shredded strips off her bum! Lovely lady who mends the rugs complained bitterly that this wasn't so much a mend, more of a rebuild!

I've never heard anything derogatory about 'Simply Stubben' mentioned on this forum...... unlike other Stubben retailer that has featured recently.

I ordered from them and had no problems and they were cheap

Friend has the Stubben string girth and it's lovely. Really soft and her boy is very sensitive and seems to prefer it

I've got the Stubben Cord girth (can't remember where I got it from, sorry!) It's nice & soft and seems to slightly help stop my saddle slipping. Only thing is, it might have stretched ,but it does seem very long so have had to stop using it whilst we are going through a lean phase (him rather than me sadly!!) I would recommend buying the size down from your usual one I think.

I bought a martingale from them and they were really nice when I told them I was concerned about the colour. (All my tack is brown Stubben

) and they were really nice. It arrived in a timely manner and I am thrilled with it.

Definitely recommend.
