I've currently got a 16.5" Wintec wide saddle listed on Ebay. It's got 4 days left, 11 watchers and is up to £195. So if I had no more bids I would walk away with around £170 after Ebay and Paypal fees.
I've had a response from another site I've advertised on and have been offered £185 so would only have Paypal fees which would leave me with £180-ish.
With such a high bid already, so many people watching and so long left for the auction to run would you let it go to the end or would you take the £185 offer and end the auction?
I can't decide what to do!!

Me... For the sake of £10, I'd let it run and take my chances. With so many people watching and days left, the likelihood is you'll get more bids x

Can you not email the person who put the offer in and tell them you will let them know at weekend?

I would see how the auction ends, people usaully bid last minute anyway.

Let it run! As others have said, and as a frequent seller & buyer myself, *most* things go up at the end quite significantly so I would wait - especially as you have a higher bid already and lots of watchers! Fingers crossed for you!

Personally, I would go back to them and say that you would accept an offer of £250, but that otherwise you will let the auction run.
Defitinely wouldn't take the offer that they have made.

Thanks everyone! I think I will let it run. I've emailed the person that's offered £185 & explained the situation and said that I'll make a decision in the next couple of days.
I'm not too sure what paypal charges tbh.
You can end an auction even if you have bids.
Thanks again :)

Is the other site Preloved or another auction site? If its preloved I wouldnt remove it from ebay until you have the money in your hand from the preloved sale. The you would have to end ebay listing saying why and I *think* its against ebay policy to state in the listing "reserve the right to end as item is listed elsewhere".

Personally I would just let it run now - it could go for a lot more with that many Watchers!

Personally I would take the money, but then I have been stung by letting it run.

I sold a car on ebay, within hours I had some offer the buy it now price. Because I had 18 watchers I decided not to accept the offer and to let it run. 5 Days later the winning bidder was the person who had offered the buy it now price. He had a bargin and got the car £50.00 cheaper than the buy it now price.

On inspection of the car e said that it was in much better condition than he thought and he would have been more than happy to pay what I was asking for but that’s the way it goes. I can’t blame him at all it’s my stupid fault for thinking that I could get more for it.

You can cancel an auction even with bids on. I would say ask the person who made an offer to bid through ebay.

As for loads watchers it doesnt mean much really i had 50 watchers on something i was selling ended up only 1 person bid on it.
