I have some rugs - rambo, buccus, wb etc and a few other horsey things such as travel boots etc to sell.

I have been watching a few things on ebay but they dont seem to be making much?

Do you think i would be better waiting til winter to put them on?
Or apart from new rider, are there any sites where i can swap them for smaller sizes etc?

I buy rugs now for exactly that reason - they are cheaper and you get more choice. Just had 3 come through this week - well pleased with my bargains.......

Talking about ebay, is anyone having trouble getting on the site? I've actually found a lot of stuff is more expensive, used to get cheap new jods now they're same price as in the shops!

I buy my rugs around this time, hoping I can pick up a better bargin before winter when everyone will be bidding on the same rug.

Im also one looking around this time of year to get ready for winter.

Luna_tic - I noticed they have gone up. Some you might as well buy new from shop.

Yeah, with eBay you really need to only put on what will sell depending on the time of year. I sold my Boett for example in the spring just after the first heat wave and got more money than I bought it for 2nd hand!!

And Im currently selling some anti-sweat rugs etc. but turnouts and stable rugs Ill keep until the autumn to sell then.
