right just sold some old horsey bits on ebay... when do I post? it says im awaiting payment, theres an eggtimer over the pound sign that says payment has initiated and is being processed by paypal..

do I wait until the pound sign shows.. or do I just send now?

first time seller!! its confusing :( they sold last night!!

a stupid Lurcher that knocks hot chocolate over the white rug is on offer to anyone that helps!!! :)

Wait till it turns into a pound sign and the money is in your account.
Just check thou that your paypal account is up and running correctly first, I brought off a first timer the other week and he emailed me saying something similar to what you have put and it turned out that he hadn't registered his paypal correctly

You'll get an email from Paypal telling you the item has been paid for and the address you should send it to :)

First thing that comes to mind: have you upgraded your Personal PayPal account to a Premier one yet? Details of different PP accounts here https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/Marketing/general/PayPalAccountTypes-outside Upgrading your account into a Premier one is free and allows you to accept all types of PP payment. This is the most likely cause of a delay in your buyer's funds being tranferred into your PP account.

However!

DEFINITELY wait until the timer switches to £ sign before dispatching the item. Neither PP or eBay will expect you to dispatch the item until payment is showing as cleared. If you do need to upgrade your account to a Premier one, it might be worth emailing your buyer through the email option on eBay and just explain the slight delay in their payment being processed and that you'll have their package in the post ASAP. It's always worth keeping your buyer happy and informed :)
