Once you have received cleared payment the goods should be sent immediately.......if you don't you'll find your feedback will reflect it. If there is a problem then send the buyer an email.
Unfortunately some people are very impatient, I sold an old phone with 2nd class recorded and the very next day after payment, they emailed saying "still no phone" i was shocked! All of his correspondance was short and abrupt, almost on the verge of rude! I always email to say thanks for paying, and then when I will be posting it and estimated day of arrival.
When buying, I think a week is plenty long enough to wait!
I've just sold a load of bits and pieces. Most sales ended Tues and I've still not had the money.
If they're cheques I'll have to post them to my Bank as I don't work in town either. I do state the 7 days clearance thing on my notes though. Probably explains why I don't get many bids cos people can't be bothered to wait! ha ha!
Annoying thing is when you send the item to the adress they give you and then when they email you a few days later saying oh but i wanted it sent to this address well sorry but its already been posted nothing i can do about it now.
Or when they dont supply a name for you to put on the package then leave you bad feedback because they didnt recieve the package for a while as they had it posted to thier work. Well sory but im not a mind reader and i will send the item to what ever adress and name im given, if im not given a name i cant put it on the package and i some how doubt that putting an ebay name like horse123 or something is going to be very helpful either.
