As title really.

I need to have a clear out, as you do I seam to have hundreds of pairs of reins and odd bridles bandages and boots etc in good second hand condition, would you offer as a lot, or offer seperately?

I remember buying job lots at auction and it being quite exciting having a root through accepting there might be stuff of no use.

Agree with lzt, but if you have a lot of stuff to put in a batch, it may be worth sorting into sizes so that people will be more likely to have things that fit. I have got better prices that way than when I don't sort it and a lot less to get rid of now!!

You'll get a better return by selling the better items individually......then depending on the amount of smaller items you have you can either lump them into one lot or split them up to smaller lots.

What about an equestrian car boot! There's one taking place on 16 September in Nottingham. If it's anywhere near you I can forward you the details

Depending on the value, if there is nothing really valuable, I would group them by size as you will get a better response than having pony/x full and cob sized altogether, that always puts me off because I will have no use for most of it!

Why not try http://www.equineadvertiser.co.uk/tack_and_equipment1.htm.

I had a tack room clear out last Autumn and advertised all my unwanted items on here. It is free and I got a really good response. I gave a breif description of each item, price and postage cost and then asked peope to text / email for more info. I sold all of my stuff. If you can send people photos that helps - every one that I sold to was really pleased and I had no one wanting to return etc.

Perhaps some of the more expensive items would be better on ebay, but foir stuff under £100 per item, the Equine Advertiser was really good.
