Ebay Member - feedback anyone?

Has anyone on here bought any good from a seller known as "Saddlery4U"? I saw something they have listed which I am very interested in however their feedback has seriously put me off and I'm not sure whether to risk ordering from them.

I've had a few things from them and never had a problem but have paid via credit card on their link and not by cheque.
I have heard alot of bad things about them but I can only say as I have found them which has been reliable.
 
Actually, I hadn't seen the feedback on here & I have just bought something from them on ebay & had no problems at all - everything went great.
 
If you are paying full price on a buy it now, or if the item reaches a good price by auction then you may be ok. Problem seems to be when items sell for very little, they don't like that and make problems, cheques don't arrive, lost in post ect.

I have bought 3 items in the past, 2 buy it now, no problems, but the one that was auction was out of stock when I won it and had to take a cheaper one in it's place. If desperate I'd use them for a buy it now, otherwise I wouldn't touch them again. They dominate the saddlery searches on ebay and that really bugs me..
 
Hi' I have to say I've bought a few things off them, (I have to admit nothing very recently tho.. ) But I've had no problems.. and none with the items either, pretty decent stuff too..
Hope that does'nt muddle you much, just trust the feedback if you'r not confident.. that's what it there for..Good luck..
 
Thank you everyone. It will likely be a reasonably high priced item, however I think I will just stick to my initial instincts and steer clear.
 
Don't do it!!!! Items won cheaply in auctions have a funny habit of 'being lost in the post', I suspect that's because they don't get posted in the 1st place.

I just bought something from them. I paid via a same day bank to bank transfer. A week later they raised an unpaid dispute with ebay!!! Much emailing later I got it sorted and eventually got my item, 2 weeks after I paid. Item was fine but I wouldn't buy from them again.
 
Funnily enough things brought as Buy it Now seem to be delivered!!! I still wouldn't use them though as the are a bunch of *******. They are also totally dishonest and try and claim you haven't paid, in a ploy to stop you being able to leave feedback (even though they have just refunded you).
 
I was looking at their shop the other day and noticed that they were selling most things BIN rather than auctions and it does look as if they have cleaned up their act in terms of recent feedback. (I'm not sure if they had anything actually being autioned in fact.)

Mind you I probably still wouldnt risk a huge sum of money with them!

Umm...they have 645 items on eBay at the moment - by far, the vast majority of goods are being auctioned and there are hardly any BIN's.

Their ratings don't appear to have improved a whole load;

5 Negatives this month
4 Neutrals this month

31 Negatives in 6 months
20 Neutrals in 6 months.

Nope sorry, they're not good enough for me to spend my dosh with
