I had listed a saddle last week with a Buy it Now price and the option to make an offer. I got made an offer and then the lady pulled out

I have relisted in the same way but no offers and 7 watchers.. what on earth would 7 watchers be waiting for in order for them to not make me an offer?

It is a very nice jump saddle at a stupid price because I just need rid of it so what is the problem?!

I watch stuff all the time that I have no real intention of buying - sorry :(

though it might not be me lol

Is it a M/W 17.5 ? as that could be me lol x

boo it's to small for my big bum lol

PS I can't find it - how did you list it ?? Maybe it needs rewording ??

Funny I bought it as a 17.5 but I didnt want to mislead people as the measurement I read (wrongly or rightly) was 17 and a tiny bit! Might be worth a gamble - Saddles direct offered me more for it but wanted huge amount of commission - so even if you found it too small it would sell ... go on you know you want it...

Seriously though, I have decided to start a fresh, I am too busy being reminded of my old horse I am clearing out pretty much everything this weekend to start a fresh... My whole life will be for sale if anyone is interested!! :D

The photos look quite dark, maybe you could take some outside in natural light. Does it only have 2 girth straps? I think part of the problem is people tend to buy brands they are familiar with.

I am clearing out everything, I have constant reminders of my old horse and I need to make a clean break - might sound daft but I miss her so much and need to move on. Not just horsey stuff too ... out with the old and all that!

Yes only 2 straps as it has been balance strapped - I totally understand the branding thing too which is why I have knocked over £600 off after light use. :) I will get some better shots if it doesnt sell this time. Thanks for the tips

why is it whenever i read about saddles, i get this urge that i need one! i'm not even riding at the moment...

it is worth re-listing on ebay. it usually goes eventually...

sorry to hear about your loss, if you have another horse or intend to get one cant you part ex?

Which is why I have the offer facility, I am happy to take much less than 450 and have offered leathers/irons and free postage with the offer I received last week, so not a bad deal :)

Good luck with getting it sold.. it'll shift eventually especially if the price is as reasonable as it sounds.

Not going to look it up, otherwise I might accidentally click 'watch'..

I watch stuff (even if it's buy it now) if I'm going to think about it and don't want the hassle of sifting through all the listings again to find it.

Word of advice for preloved - If someone is interested, say that if someone else makes an offer and comes up with payment you will not hold it for them. Had a nightmare of a time selling my old hacking jacket on there (only for a tenner - couldn't be bothered with ebay fees etc!). Had 3 people say they wanted it and were coming to collect, each time I had other people interested and turned them away. 3 time people never come to collect and didn't even tell me there weren't coming!

Hurrah! I think in this financial climate, one has to make adjustments ;) ha ha ha!

Preloved - I had an account from ages ago that I just logged into and followed th eadvert instructions online. It is like freeads I think :)
