Ebay question

Hi there,

Has anyone bought from Saddlery4U before? I won an item on ebay last night and paid there and then but have now found they have refunded the payment and am finding this a little odd. I have contacted the seller, but no response as yet.

They refund your money if you havent won it for a high enough amount.Barge poles spring to mind.Just check out their feedback.

You really need to look at Weezy's post last night in the Soapbox!! It's about ebay feedback from this place. Very interesting!!
 
spooky, ive just bought some stirrups from them, paid via paypal and its been refunded almost immediately , they want me to pay via their credit card world pay link, but it said on the listing paypal accepted!! i have just mailed the seller.

and theres no way I'm paying by card after seeing their feedback!!!
 
Yea me too but their feedback didn't look too bad at a glance! lol! Have just emailed eBay about the matter, not that I expect they'll do much, but hey, I will be royally p****d if I end up with negative feedback because of them!
 
i say bring it on....love a good argument!!! , ive just mailed the seller, she says, "the listing says NO PAYPAL", so i said "ummmmmm i think you will find it says paypal accepted and the paypal link to pay comes up at the end of the auction". Shes a prat and shes called "honey" too!!!! let her give neg feedback, and unpaid item - ebay must strike her off! All i want is some damn stirrups for my daughter!! how hard can it be

Yea I know how you feel I was so happy to have a new exercise sheet for my girl and now I have to prat about with some moronic ebayer! I'd be interested to see if either of us get a response from mentioning that the listing does state Paypal is accepted! I doubt it though, I expect she'll just open an unpaid item dispute! Lol!
 
he he - we shall stick together on this ! i know she will raise a dispute and there is no way im paying! now i am advidly searching for stirrups!
 
Reading the feedback for this company has just entertained me while having a boring morning at work for at least 20 minutes. How can they have the nerve to keep calling people liers? I've never seen a feedback page as funny as that one, what annoys me though is that they are clearly walking off with a lot of other peoples money

Pathelschoice - we shall definately stick together on this one, we can compare notes on whats being said lol! I wanna start looking for another exercise sheet but then I think it'd be just my luck on this occassion that they change their mind and decide they will take Paypal on this occassion and then I'll be stuck with 2 sheets!

Panda2007 - yea their feedback does make for entertaining reading, and am still stunned that ebay allow them to operate still as clearly they are misleading a lot of people, and as you said, walking off with their money! It makes me mad that ebay let people like this get away with it!
 
I am glad this company has been brought to my attention, being an avid ebayer I am suprised I haven't been ripped off by them yet!
Jus to mention, it does say in little writing, just under the bit that shows that accepted payment methods including Paypal, she has got in the seller bit 'NO PAYPAL'
Hopefully, they'll be kicked off ebay, if they leave you horrible feedback as they seem to, you should be able to get Ebay to remove it as it is defamatory
 
Although they very often display the PAYPAL sign they actually well not accept it as a method of payment!

The reason being that they lose control over refunding unsatisfied customers, & there are many. Paypal will step in & refund the customer when there's a problem & Saddlery 4U dislike refunding. You will see alot of the negative feedback is over refunds etc.

There are loads of posts on this company!!!

I had a bad experience with them they took my money and then just denied that I had paid, I had the receipt from their website with the payment details but they just ignored me. (Yes I got the item cheap) I reported them to trading standards and also emailed a number of other people who had also left them -ve FB and suggested they did the same but never heard anything more. I opened a dispute which they answered with "." I tried to get Ebay to see that this should be classed as not responding but they wouldn't and they opened a dispute against me saying I hadn't paid but as I had the receipt Ebay had to accept that I had and refunded me £2.90 against a payment of about £30. Ebay should do something about it but they are too scared!

Also report them to PayPal - they really really deserve it!
 
Nightamare seller. I paid by same day bank transfer and a WEEK later I get a non paid item dispute! Eventually got my item a week after that. Judging by the feedback this seems to have happened to quite a few people. I didn't leave feedback, because I didn't want unjustified negative in return. I did report it though.
 
I have just bought some tendon boots off them, to be fair they are smashing i paid via their link with debit card and they arrived promptly!

I am relieved somebody else has had good dealings with them. I was beginning to feel the odd one out!
