If I have items on ebay I make a point of regularly checking I've had no emails or messages relating to the item. I bought a bit on ebay buy it now 3 days ago. Descrition said all sizes available so after winning the item I contacted the seller just to make sure the size I want is in stock before I pay using paypal. Three days later I've heard nothing! I'm so desperate for this bit! Have sent another message last night and still nothing.

This annoys me too, a bit of customer service wouldnt go amiss!..... Once I waited a week for the seller to contact me, when I asked where is my item, and then another week for the item to be dispatched.... and when it arrived it was blumming broken.... when I complained, he wouldnt do anything about it............

yeah ebay can be a nightmare. had a lot of probs too. usually i find filling a dispute makes them get their finger out, but if haven't even paid for the item then that's not exactly an option.
maybe u should pay for it, and put the size u want along with payment? do it through paypal, that way if it doesn't appear u can then file a dispute and just claim ure money back.

I just wanted to check they had the size before i paid to safe the hassle of trying to get a refund. It's a new neue schule tranz lozenge baucher.

oh, that is exactly the bit I was looking for on ebay too, what seller was it so i don't make the same mistake?? PM me is you prefer. Thanks

Yeah but our customer service went down for 2 days as Dad is on holiday and I had to go out with work last night

Queue the torrent of eBayers complaining about slow despatch!!

Neue schule are still having MASSIVE supply problems since they swapped factories. On the bright side, the new bits look better made, but we cannot get hold of jumpers or universals for another 3 weeks.

well ive got the opposite problem, have waited 20 days for payment from a buyer, sent loads of emails, filed a non paying buyer claim, left it a week for her to respond and she hasnt, so ive now close the dispute, left negative feed back and re listed the item. The person has bought and paid for things since so i know she will have seen the emails.

I have gone off ebay , you get a much better service and with 'warranty' from proper online saddlery's than buying off someone you dont know unless it is a buisness like CS...
The classic is a private seller selling a used item described as 'in excellent cond' and when it arrives its only fit for the bin, and not much you can do about it really.
Also, you can get conned when a priavte seller sends an item in a box via recorded delivery , so you sign for it then you open up a boxfull of newpaper with no item !!!! then theres no way of ever seeing your money again !!

TBH if I were you, Id just tell them what size you want and pay. If they suddenly turn round and say they dont have that size then you get your money back - simple.

I love Ebay. VLHIEASTON - If an item isnt as described (ie. condition wise) you can report them to EBay and get your money back!

The only problem Ive had with them is that they ALWAYS side with the buyer no matter what! I sold something (only a small item so no insurance) but got a proof of posting. However, the buyer said they didnt receive it. I said I had proof of posting but Ebay didnt seem to care and refunded their money!
