To cut it short.... Bought some keiffer boots from ebay, described as 'brand new'. They were muddy when arrived and showed obvios signs of wear. Informed the seller wanted a refund including postage, who said to return boots and she would issue a FULL REFUND. I expected this to be for £42.99 (cost of boots) and £6.00 (cost of orignal postage to me). So sent boots back and have just recieved refund for £42.99?
What do you think? Have looked through Ebay but not v helpful. Any Ideas, should I email her?
I know it is only £6 but that is a bale of shavings!!

i would def email her as its not only the £6 you paid for them to be sent but i'm betting u have had to pay postage to send them back... refund should include postage. Ebay should be able to take action also as item listed was not as described.

E-mail her (especially if you paid via PAYPAL -who will help if needed). I just had to return a saddle which had busted stitching and got a full refund (including original postage). I just had to pay the return postage, which still pissed me off if I honest as wouldn't have bid on saddle if I had known about the stitching (funny what some peoples idea of 'new' and 'excellent' are)!!!!

Keep copies of everything, incase you have to file a dispute in order to recover your costs.

I had this recently too - won a MEDIUMWEIGHT rug which came and was a lightweight, queried with seller who said to return and she would refund me, but she would not pay for the return postage, so by the time I returned the rug and paid for postage i'd end up out of pocket - ended up keeping the rug but left negative feedback for unhelpfullness and incorrect description of rug.
