Ebay - Selling rugs

Have sold lots of stuff on Ebay but never rugs. I have decided I have about 10 times too many different rugs littering my "rug room" (yes, I actually have to have a specific room for them all!).

Am in the process of having them washed and repaired now. They'll be a mixture of rugs (mainly all the same size) like a WB Arion Combo / Fal High Neck etc. down to cheap old rugs like those honeycomb coolers etc.

So my question is: Am I better to sell these rugs individually or would I get more money for them if I put them into lots?? (for example, all the turnouts together or all the rugs of the same size together etc.).

I'd say you're better off to sell them individually, you could offer a combined postage rate as well.

Most definately sell them individually - especially the better make ones.

I have a 6 year old rambo wug currently on £45 on ebay at the moment - these better rugs just go for bloomin good money!!

I assume Im correct in having them professionally washed and repaired (if needed) now so I can advertise that in the auction? ie. I wouldnt be wasting my money would I?

I think it depends on the rug, I would have any of the 'expensive' makes washed/repaired as you are more likely to make your money on those. Chepaer makes I wouldn't bother as they don't make much 2nd hand.
I have two old rugs to put on and don't think they will sell for much so have just given them a wash over by hand so they are not too grim!

Deffo not wasting money and deffo individually!! Make sure you put on your adverts "look at my other items".....what size are they btw??

I sold a MW knight rider which I had washed by hand and that sold for £8 which I thought was good considering I had got it free!!!!

Ooh I have a few rugs to put on ebay. If the Rambos are making that sort of money better get mine listed, it is 4 years old, no repairs and professionally cleaned.

Yeah - Im about to go and buy a Rambo Duo online so Im hoping selling some rugs will help cover that expense! Its you lot on HHO who are causing such damage to my bank account - you all say how wonderful something is so I just HAVE to go and buy one!!! AGHH!
