a saddle I bought off ebay is ot the size they had it advertised at,it is infact 2 inches wider!!! so i now have paid out for a saddle which is completely useless. what do i do? even if i request a refund ive still lost 15 quid post and pack which i begrudge because the return is not my fault, its theres for mis-advertising. what to do???

It depends if it was a business seller or private sale. If it is a business seller I think there are regulations regarding the return P&P if you have had the item under 14 days under Distance Selling Regulations... If you open an 'Item not as described' case in Ebay Resolution Centre the seller may refund the P&P or Ebay may rule in your favour. Be careful that you return it by a tracked service to make sure you can prove it was returned. Hope this helps...

If you paid via Paypal open a dispute with the seller with Paypal saying the item is not as described. You will be asked how much you are asking for & you can include the p+p in with the price of the saddle when you make the claim. It is rare that Paypal ever come down on the side of the seller. Youy should get your money & postage back. You must also return the saddle as a signed for parcel so it can be proved you returned the item.

right, so it is a business seller, i have been offered a refund for the saddle and p&p. but if i go and post it i have to pay £15 AGAIN so i can post it, so still have lost £15!! see what i mean?!

thats usually the same though if you buy from any online store you loose the postage. Even if you opened a dispute im not even sure youd get the postage back

I had one other week bought as 18" I need 18" but it was 17 when it arrived, even had 17" stamped on it! kept it though as it was such a bargain, will find something to use it on.
