Boy it's cold out there! Echo is very, very pleased that we haven't got around to clipping her yet as there was ice on the road by the time we got home from our RC flatwork lesson tonight.

This was Echo's first party with us and I didn't know what to expect away from home. She has been with us for A to produce for about a month now, having spent another month in Ireland with a friend before coming over. Prior to that she was in a field with her breeder and only just broken so she is low mileage - unspoiled in other words :D - for a 5yo.

She might even be the horse to persuade A to do some BE in the spring if she's still with us then as her 6yo brother Mr Homepride has 17 BE pts and 53 BE foundation points and her 7yo brother Whiskey Roo has 34 BE pts and placed 2*.

I'm delighted to report that her behaviour was exemplary and she exhibited a willingness to work and to accept her travel and new surroundings like a horse with exceedingly more experience :) (Working the e'd but struggling I must admit here :D) After a number of difficult jumping ponies in A's formative years it is lovely to have a horse who says "yes dad let's do it and how would you like it done?"

Some pics from tonight and recently. I like the one of her stood up this evening having a pat as she was just so chilled. Quite literally when we went outside.....!
