Eco bed - how do you muck out yours??

Do you deep litter or muck out daily?

Ive been mucking out properly every 2 days and just removing the poo on the other days.

Just interested really how other people use it?

Where do you get your eco bed from?

Im thinking of trying it, but to buy direct you have to order a minimum of one pallet!

I take out the poos with rubber gloves, remove the wet and bed down again. saturday and sunday I completely turn the bed.

Have known to use rubber gloves and pick out the poo, Break up some of the dampish stuff and fork it up .

Generally skip out once twice a day and then in the evening time fork it up .

I just take out all the poos then lift the bed up and take the wets out as best i can with a shovel. No different to shavings mucking out.

i took out the wet every other day - tried deep literring but didnt agree with it - altho his majesty was v wet!

I drive my lorry down and collect what i want - the depot is in Luton.
Its £4 a bale plus vat collected and you can get as many or as little as you like.
