Couldn't believe it when we got to the gate to pay - £15 per adult! Not worth the money for a show that size and with that number of trade stands surely? I won't be going again, we only paid and went in because it took us nearly an hour to get there. Kent County is much better value for a similar entry fee.

After some of the judging I saw I don't think I'd enter either, but that's another thread LOL!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a rip off.
(Anyone else incensed by people waving their arms about and staring meaningfully into your eyes as you drive in and out of the car park? I mean, if you've waved me towards a line of parked cars, I can work out where you want me to go without you staring fixedly at me and constantly making sweeping gestures with your arms in case I get lost. And don't get me started on the boy scout leaping in front of my car at the last second, just in case I forget to stop when I'm parking. ROFLMAO!).

ha ha ha i always park in the lorry park so i dont have to walk for miles to get back to the car...

I nearly fell on the floor laughing when the "boy scouts" were marching in line from one ring to another...they were only arena party in the workers ring!!

I have learnt some lessons when it comes to E&O if you want some tips pm me and i will show you the light!

Whilst £15 is a lot of money for any show I would rather pay that to get into e&o than Kent County.E&O is at least a proper country show with a huge range of equestrian/agricultural classes and attractions whereas Kent is full of tat stalls and equestrian classes are rather limited. That said I agree with the others that it is cheaper to enter a class particularly if your winnings exceed your entry fees which has happened to us in the last few years!

It is definitely our fav show of the year!
