Just started watching it - the walk of that horse is wierd, it looks almost lame on the near hind.....

Do you have the sound on? He's explaining that he is changing the tempo in the walk, I think what you are seeing at the very start is the horse shortening its steps to take the tempo back.

Yes had the sound on - it was right at the beginning when he first walked in on it, looked slightly wierd behind. Lovely horse though, and very interesting.
