sorry, had a lot of pent up energy to release!!
After a weeklong hard battle, we've bought a horse, he's passed vetting and x-rays (dont ever have a horse vetted in Cornwall....ever....) and he arrives tommorow

More details when he's safely tucked up in his stable *fingers crossed* Never has buying a horse been so stressful but fingers crossed things will go smoothly from now. He's for my sister but she shares her toys with me when she's feeling generous

theyre so darn cornish!!
Lovely and they try hard but my god, I was so close to giving up trying to have him vetted. Typical sister went away and left me to deal with it all, not sure cronish vets have x-rayed a horse for a vetting since....well vet school!!

Argh thats a bugger! I had near enough the same problem when Missy was vetted. She was lame on the day of the vetting, I wanted her x-rayed to see if there was a problem there of if she was lame because of the reason we thought it was (Some muppet came to try her out-after we said to the owners that we wanted her!- and he lamed her by running her into school corners to stop her bolting and she slipped) The vet said there wasn't any point because he thought it was OCD! Ruddy man, she's sound as a pound now.....OCD my arse

Which vets did you have if you don't mind me asking?

Used Pelyn for the vetting (lovely, lovely people and bless the vet, he's supposed to be on holiday this week but he has had to keep going into the vets to sort our stuff out!!) and an independant guy with a portable digital x-ray machine for the x-rays
