As some of you may know my amazing horsey got retired just over a year ago due to hip problems.

I have only ridden once since then! Still have him and the my little boy and I love the day to day stuff and loving rebreaking Blue to a driving pony again. But just lately I have been missing the riding really badly, a few friends have offered the chance to school their horses but being that its been sooo long since I rode I want to have a few lessons first, plus I used to suffer with nerves!

I am so excited and nervous at the same time! I dont think I have ever had a lesson on a horse that isnt mine!?!?!

Pointless I know but seeing as none of the guys in the office are horsey they dont understand!

Exciting! I've just returned to riding after a 4 year break and I was really nervous too. I'm still nervous getting on a new horse, but once I've walked round a couple of times, the nerves go again

I have to admitt that I was bouncing around the office like a kid at christmas!

And on a slightly seperate note Rana, I told James last night that I wanted to make it work while he is in Afgan and was over the moon, when I rang and told him about the lesson today he said that he wants to get me another horse before he goes so that I have something all consuming for while he is gone! And I have have to get well schooled so he can ride it when he gets home!
