eeek! Moving yards!

Ponio is moving yards this weekend...I am really sad to be leaving the current yard but it has to be done as Murphy needs more exercise than I can give him where we are now.

I am soooo nervous about moving! I keep panicking that Murphy won't like it, and all the people will think I'm a rubbish horse owner...

Any tips for making sure Murphy settles in easily? He is not usually one to get stressed, but I just want to make sure everything goes smoothly.

He is currently out with one other gelding but at the new yard he'll be out with a mixed herd, so I'm a bit scared about that.

Please tell me to get over myself becaue we'll be fine!

Of course he'll be fine. I'm sure he'll enjoy having some girlies to play with! And it will be much nicer being able to ride him more.

you'll be fine, I was terrified when I moved too, same worries, what if the people didn't like me, what if George was stressed (he was), but it has worked out well now. I took a bucket of George's dirty bedding with me and put it on top of his new bed when I arrived, I also took a couple of haynets of his old hay so I could mix in the new stuff.
