Just had a conversation with a man who has just had his bitch seen too.

He runs the Cotswold and Wyevern Lab Club. All yellow litter. Due April 11th, so home around June/July.

No certainties yet, but EEK EEK EEK!
 
Alec, they know it's going to be an all yellow litter, no idea on colour of mum or dad just colour of pups.

Seen to is how he'd described it, I would always have said done! Dunno whether it's a round here thing, I still feel like a foreigner!!

Dunno about that Alec; I had a black dog puppy turn up in a litter by a Field Trial Champion fox red out of a dark yellow of mine.When they were registered the Kennel Club picked up on it,and ALL the possibles and puppies had to be swabbed for DNA parentage. As it turned out they were right,our little black fella was by our own choc dog Leader,and the other seven reds and yellows were by the dog I used.Naughty naughty Leader had his paw in the pie before she went off to stud!:o
Fox Reds are MUCH nicer than plain old yellows Flamehead !

Tbh if it came out purple I wouldn't care, what is important to me this time is that it is healthy and tested and well bred.

Yellow is just our current preference but like I said colour is fairly irrelevant to us. I wouldn't want black if there was a choice as I would compare to chlo all the time.

We'll see. No idea on cost yet, he might say £2000 a pup and then we're bummed!!
