As title ... I'm so excited! By this time next week I could have a new horse :D

Fingers crossed all goes well, please :)

A couple of words of warning - and I am sorry if it sounds like I am trying to dampen your enthusiasm...

Try very hard to watch the vetting. Make sure you see the passport, and that it is in the vendors name, and that the pedigree they told you the horse has, is shown on that passport. Also take the time, now BEFORE the vetting to ask whether the vendor is willing to give you a receipt that states very clearly, the horse has no vices, loads, clips, shoes, does whatever it is they verbally say it does (and you want it to do).

I have been caught out by someone who very cleverly covered up and number of big problems that I have with my new horse - so please be very wary - even a private seller can be held to account, if you have this in writing.

BigRed, thanks for the advice. I've had 2 horses before, and had sales receipts for both of them so I'll be using the same template as I've used before.
